Haiku Reserve, Main Street, Katikati
If you’re in the mood for an awesome evening of entertainment then come on down to the Haiku Reserve in Katikati on the 5th of January to join Tim Armstrong and the Kiwibandits for a great night’s entertainment.
This three-piece will rock your socks off with familiar songs that you will be able to sing along to… dancing shoes are a must for this fun and very lively band!
Tim was born in England and emigrated to New Zealand as a young lad, performing his first professional gig at age 13 then played in The Politicians where they recorded two singles and appeared in numerous TV shows.
In 1987 The Kiwibandits were formed and they spent the next few years travelling and entertaining throughout the USA and Europe, gaining loads of experience.
Tim has performed at every Whangamata Beach Hop since 2000 and recorded his latest album at his home studio earlier this year. A talented bunch, Tim Armstrong and the Kiwibandits will be a show not to be missed!
If you want to see some local talent be at the Haiku Reserve when Calista performs! For those who have been following New Zealand’s Got Talent you would have seen Calista in the semi-finals.

Calista has performed with Suzanne Lynch at Baycourt, performed at the Tauranga Jazz Festival and garden festivals, and was third in the Papamoa Palm Beach Idol competition; with Calista on vocals, the rock band Chase Replica were placed in the top three finalists at the Eric Simpson Show and has appeared on national television.
